Thank you for this information - the rates are very competitive indeed! It has made me realise just how much over the odds we are paying at the moment. Please can you tell me how we proceed from here, I will not be seeing my husband until tomorrow evening so will confirm our acceptance in a few days, after we have had chance to discuss your offer. Once again, many thanks for your help - I don't know whether I should tell you this, but I contacted three mortgage companies over the internet and you were the only ones to respond. Also, my request has been dealt with swiftly and courteously by all who have replied to my email, so I think you deserve a pat on the back.

Many thanks for your help with my Halifax mortgage. To make a reduction of 37% on the interest is most impressive. The savings on life insurance were larger as a percentage (42%) but these obviously did not delight me as much as the mortgage, as the net result was much smaller. Thank you for the £ 3000 benefit to this years cashflow.

Just a line to say thank you for returning my documents and to let you know what happened in the end with my mortgage. The Principality (my own Building Society), gave me a very good deal on a repayment mortgage, which has a reduced rate for the first two years. This means I am actually paying less now for my mortgage under a repayment scheme, than I was with the Endowment. I have cashed in my Endowment and have had a very positive response from the Ombudsman, and I am now taking that case forward. Thank you for your time, I hope you don't think I wasted too much of it (although I'm sure you do). I am sometimes a bit slow to make decisions, but once I have made them they are usually the right ones. You did however give me some good advice regarding my Endowment Policy and for that I am very grateful.
